National Archives description: "Steel matting is laid on an airstrip in a jungle area. A transport plane lands; its crew deplanes, mail is loaded aboard it, and the plane takes off. Martha Raye deplanes from a transport; personnel crowd around her to get her autograph. "Grumman" and "Corsair" fighter planes land on and take off from the airstrip. Rations are transferred from a jeep to a light reconnaissance plane. The plane takes off and flies over jungle terrain to drop the rations to troops below."
